Privacy Policy

RateMyAge is operated by RateMyAge Inc. (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use ratemyage.com and what we don’t.

Your photo never leaves your device

The face analysis runs on your device, in your browser. Your photo is never uploaded, and we never collect or store your photo, your face, face measurements or any other face data. Your browser downloads the analysis model from our server; the photo itself stays on your phone.

What we do store

• Challenge links. When you reach your result we create a challenge record so your link is ready to share: the first name you enter (optional), the age you entered, and your result number.
• Email for the newsletter. If you choose to unlock your plan, we store your email address and add you to the Biohack Ageless newsletter list, tagged as a RateMyAge signup together with your result (the age you entered, your result number, the difference and the date).
• Anonymous usage events. Things like “scan completed” or “share tapped”, tied to a random ID that lives only for your browser session. We don’t use cookies for this, and we don’t store IP addresses.

Your IP address is used briefly in memory to stop abuse (rate limiting) and is not written to our database. We don’t sell your data.

Stored on your device

Your browser keeps your best score and whether you’ve unlocked your plan (localStorage), plus the random session ID above (sessionStorage). You can clear these in your browser settings.

Email provider

We send our newsletter in-house through Google Workspace. Your email address and your RateMyAge result are stored on our servers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

18+ only

RateMyAge is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Deleting your data

To delete a challenge link or your email address, email hello@ratemyage.com with the link or address and we’ll remove it. To stop the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any email.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
